Not feeling well and seeking advice? Or maybe you’re unable to get a blood test through your doctors’ surgery at the moment? You may decide to have a health assessment because of a specific health concern; an ongoing condition that you wish to monitor; or if you are looking for support to improve your overall health.
We are able to offer advice on a wide range of health issues, from diabetes and cholesterol to skin problems and vitamin deficiencies. If necessary, to aid your diagnosis, we can arrange for a private blood test to be taken within your own home. This can be done via a fingerprick blood sampling kit sent out to you by post. Once we have received the results from the lab, our independent prescribing pharmacist, Shikha, can review your results and give you advice along with a private prescription if needed.
Common blood tests that may be hard to come by at the moment include vitamin D and vitamin B12, the levels of which are affected by sun exposure and diet. So if you’ve been stuck indoors living off a restricted supermarket shop, this is the prime time to get those levels checked and keep them topped up!
By using her health expertise, Shikha will build a clear picture of what your current level of health is and identify potential risks, so you can make the necessary changes to optimise your wellbeing during these uncertain times.
Due to her extensive aesthetics experience, Shikha specialises in skin conditions. So if you are worried about rosacea, acne, hyperpigmentation or maybe a rash you’ve developed, then come and book in for an online consultation at Elegant Clinic today.
